Meet Brett Mills
Since purchasing his first Toyota dealership in Nambour in 2002, Brett Mills has helped grow Ken Mills Toyota into one of the Sunshine Coast's leading automotive businesses, expanding to include both Nambour and Maroochydore locations.
Over the past two decades, Brett has led the business through some of the most significant periods of change the automotive industry has experienced. From the Global Financial Crisis and the supply chain disruptions following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and global vehicle shortages, Brett has experienced first-hand how world events can shape the Australian automotive landscape.
Beyond the dealership, Brett has also played an active role in the industry, serving as the former Chairman of the National Toyota Dealers Association. This provided him with the opportunity to contribute to national discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing the automotive sector while continuing to serve local motorists on the Sunshine Coast.
Today, the industry is evolving once again. Electrification, battery technology, hydrogen, artificial intelligence, connected vehicles, the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) and changing consumer expectations are transforming the way Australians buy, own and drive their vehicles.
