As we head in to Christmas and the end of 2018, I wanted to say thank you for your support of Ken Mills Toyota; be it through the purchase of a new or used car or your continued loyalty to our service team. As a local, family-owned dealership, your business directly helps us to give back to our Sunshine Coast community organisations, sporting clubs and charities who support this incredible region.

We had many highlights this year including the launch of our KMT Ambassador Program with six Professional Netballers Steph Wood, Laura Scherian, Madeline McAuliffe, Cara Koenen, Karla Pretorius and Erena Mikaere. It has been a privilege to partner with these hard-working young women in sport.

It was with our Ambassadors' support, and that of our amazing guests, that we also managed to raise $55,000 at this years Millsy's Pop-Up Restaurant - this was an incredible result for the events beneficiary SunnyKids, bringing our total fundraising for this charity to $250,000 over the last 5 years. My personal thanks to everyone who has been a part of this effort over the years. 

I would like to congratulate our three recipients of 2018  'Employee of the Year', Brad Fisher, Kim Hagan and Scott Utting in recognition of their daily commitment to our values and customer service. They are all off for a well-deserved break at Spicers Clovelly Estate. Many of you will have met them over the years and I think you will agree that they are very worthy of the award!

Scott Utting also took out the Toyota Regional Title for 'Sales Walk Around' and went on to represent Ken Mills Toyota at the National Skills Finals. Jess Freeman, our Guest Experience Manager, was a Finalist in the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network 2018 Awards, for 'Young Business Woman of the Year'. To say I am proud of my staff would be an understatement - they are absolutely the foundation to the success of the business along with all whom we do business with.
