Ken Mills Toyota raises more than $55,000 for SunnyKids in just 4 hours.
Ken Mills Toyota hosted the fourth annual ‘Millsy’s Pop-Up Restaurant’ on Saturday 8th September, once again fundraising for much-loved local charity, SunnyKids.
150 guests enjoyed what has become one of the Sunshine Coast’s most unique fine dining experiences, in the process raising an incredible $55,000 in just over four hours to support at-risk children in our community.
The sell-out event has become a ‘must’ on the local social calendar; when, for one night only, the Maroochydore dealership service centre is transformed from a mechanical workshop into a restaurant - and back again - in under 24 hours by a team of volunteers from the Ken Mills Toyota staff.
This year the theme was ‘Havana Nights’ with a stunning 3-course Cuban menu developed and prepared by Capelli Foods.
‘This is an incredible result from one evening; I am so proud of my staff who run this event, and humbled by the business community who donate prizes and their services, and grateful for the generosity of the guests who attend. Tickets sold out in record time this year, which is testament to what a fun night this is for all involved’, said Ken Mills Toyota dealer principal, Brett Mills.
Amongst the attendees this year were Ken Mills Toyota Ambassadors and professional netballers Stephanie Wood, Erena Mikaere, Cara Koenen, Madeline McAuliffe and Laura Sherian.
