Ken Mills Toyota on the Sunshine Coast are delighted to announce the creation of a 5-episode docu-series called GR Rising Stars. The series will bring to life some of the action-packed racing and unique and exciting stories of various drivers, teams and their families as they compete in the 2022 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series (TGRA 86 Series).

The TGRA 86 Series was created in 2016 and is one of Australia's most competitive, exciting and affordable motorsport series for drivers young and old. Racing at Australia's biggest racetracks, on national television alongside the V8 Supercar Series, the racing is close, raw and actioned packed.

Episode one went live recently on the Toyota Australia YouTube channel and will also be available to watch on Kayo from the TGRA 86 Series hub.

Episode One: Sibling Rivalry

The Hadden family from Brisbane are a tight knit bunch and racing was always going to feature in their lives from the first moment dad Glen climbed behind the wheel of a speedway car at the age of 15.

Alex and Ryan Hadden have been described as ‘near twins’, but like all brothers, their rivalry bubbles to the surface pretty quickly. This rivalry ran all through their sporting careers, from footy teams, right up through karting and now the TGRA 86 Series.

The brothers take to the track at Sydney Motorsport Park to not only battle each other but a 30-plus strong field in tricky wet conditions that are more akin to driving on an ice rink than a race circuit.
