SunnyKids believes everyone deserves a fair go; they work tirelessly to break intergenerational cycles of poverty and disadvantage using an early intervention model. The Sunshine Coast community alone identifies 5,000 at risk children every year. In response, SunnyKids provides over 10,000 nights of emergency accommodation, and partner with health, education and child protection agencies to keep these kids safe and give them the best chance to reach their potential.
Each September, Ken Mills Toyota redirect the marketing budget away from advertising cars, and instead promote ‘Millsy’s Donation Drive’ – a month-long fundraising campaign which raises money and awareness for SunnyKids.
In 2016, ‘Donation Drive’ with the support of the incredible Sunshine Coast community, raised $30,000 through the ‘You Drive, We Donate’ campaign and the now infamous ‘Millsy’s Pop-Up Restaurant’.
